MORE MUSCLE WINGNUT TOOL
This light, portable and attachable tool gives more muscle for anyone who has ever struggled to open tight wing nuts or thumb screws. It was originally developed for rowers who deal with salt corrosion on metal surfaces. It is especially useful for elderly persons or those having weak fingers, diminished fine motor skills or arthitis. It fits wide variety of wing nut sizes.

LASER CUT AND HAND STITCHED MOUSE PAD
When you spend a considerable portion (ok, almost all of it) of your waking hours by your computer, the comfort of your work station becomes important. The angle of your chair has to be just so. The phone has to be reachable. The background music can make or break your day. It was therefor incomprehensible that I let my mousepad bother me for so long. It had served me well for many years, but the corners had ripped, the edges scratched my wrist and some kind of plastic residue seemed to collect under the mouse. It was clearly time to let go.
Commercially available options didn't appeal to me. They just seemed, well, too commercial or at least impersonal. As a crafty designer, I needed to tackle the issue hands on. For materials, I chose felt and leather and got them laser cut to size. The beauty of laser is that you can also cut the holes for stitches. It is then easy to glue and backstitch the pieces together.
Even if my waking hours are mostly spent with the computer, there is something incredibly satisfying to touch needle and embroidery floss. It made me miss my knitting. It is also nice to look at and feel my hand stitched mouse pad every time I work.

COMPRESSO KITCHEN PRESS (CONCEPT)
COMPRESSO IS A COMPLETE FOOD PRESS SOLUTION AND MORE
Like many product designs, Compresso started as a problem. As a cheesemaker, I had desperately tried to find a functional cheese form with a build-in weight. Since it didn’t exist, it was time to design one.
Compresso is inspired by traditional wooden cheese forms but is designed for modern kitchens. People in those modern kitchens are increasingly looking back to the old fashioned slow food methods. Touching the bread dough again or making cheese with grandma’s recipe is not only trendy, but incredibly satisfying.
While Compresso is ideal for different home made cheeses, it can also be used for other pressing duties, such as squeezing extra liquid out of zucchini or making gravlax. It even functions as an attractive serving dish or an oven pan. The form can of course be used as a simple colander or as a serving bowl. It could be considered an entire new product category.
Material suggestion: Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe ceramic, such as porcelain or stoneware. Compresso exists currently only as a 3D NURBS model and pictures are renderings.
